“Since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a camera in hand.”

Growing up I was inspired by my family, friends and the beauty of the world around me. I loved to capture it all. Throughout childhood, I remember my Dad carrying the video camera around filming the simple day to day adventures with three young girls. On special occasions my Mom was always quick to snap the perfect picture with her film camera, freezing all the little details of that moment in time.

But everything changed the day I got my first camera. Since then, I’ve never put one down.

To this day, generations of photos and films bring SO much joy and laughter to our family + friends. When everyone is home together in Santa Ynez, it wouldn’t be surprising to find us all piled in the living room, fire going, reminiscing on ridiculous home videos and flipping through old photo albums.

For me, it’s the innocent little faces and voices that you can’t get back. Captured through this capsule of visual and audio memories. The endless dances choreographed to Britney Spears + *Nsync, fashion shows and all of the “First’s”. The growing personalities and ALL of the awkward stages. Life moves quickly. Fast forward to now, I still can’t put the camera down.

Capturing life’s precious moments continues to be my passion.

While being a local teacher for over a decade, specializing in human development and autism, I’ve always continued to pursue photography and videography. I shared an intimate wedding videography business with my sister for many years, while independently, family photography always remained my forte. My deep love for the people, children, families, businesses and beauty of Santa Barbara, has continually meshed with my passion to capture photo and video.
